If you are a signer, you MUST be present for in-person or virtual appointment to have the document notarized. If the document requires multiple signers, then only those who are present can be notarized.
We can not notarize a signer if they are not present, however, if the document requires more than one signer, an absent signer can have their signature notarized at a later date.
If your document requires Witnesses when you sign, they MUST be present for the document to be properly notarized.
Everyone who is named in the document will need to have a current/not expired Government Issued form of ID that has the same name as indicated on your document.
If you do not have a valid ID, *2 Witnesses that personally know you ( co-worker, neighbor etc), or *1 witness that personally knows both you and your Notary will need to be present for your appointment to confirm your identity.
*Witnesses must be 18, unrelated to the signer and can not be mentioned or benefit directly or indirectly from the document.
Prior to the appointment, the document will need to be completed. During your the appointment, we will also review your document to make sure it is fully completed before we notarize.
If you have any questions about how to fill out the document or what type of Notarization the document needs, you will need to talk with a Legal Professional prior to the appointment.
*As a Notary, it is against the law for us to give any legal advice regarding your document and to decide what type of notarial act is needed.
